SOS International Community Outreach Service Project for February SOS International provides the North Texas community a means to help at-risk children and their families in need with corporate donations received. Local Care Networks pick up the sorted donations to help the families they serve; donations such as food, beverages, hygiene care, medical care supplies and more. We also pack food boxes for local distribution. We assemble boxes and pack them with different food items and get them ready for delivery. You will help sort and organize donations to take inventory, help "shop" (pull orders) for our Local Care Networks (local partner organizations) or pack food boxes. Please select the desired role available for the day.

Rotary Service Project with Metroport Meals On Wheels
Saturday, July 15, 2023
We invite you to help deliver fruit baskets to MMOW’s homebound participants on Saturday, July 15th.
Time: MMOW Office or a central meeting point in your community 9:00 a.m.—11:00 a.m.
Where: 428 N Hwy 377 Roanoke
RSVP by Thursday, July 13th Please use Sign Up Genius Link in your email or text me at 817-933-2039. Teams of 2 will deliver fruit baskets to MMOW's homebound participants. Maps, directions, supplies and contact info will be distributed at MMOW’s office or a central meeting point in your community.
This project is a great one if members want to include children or grandchildren - especially if they have community service hours to complete during the summer.
We need to have a good headcount in order to set up the most efficient routes - we will try to keep it to a maximum of 12 stops per team, fewer stops the greater the number of teams.
Thanks you so much for carving out time to join us for this fun morning. This terrific Rotary effort has meant so much to our homebound participants over the years!
Please let me know if you have questions or need additional information. We should be through by 11:00 at the latest. Historically, most groups finish earlier. |
