On January 11, 2024 the GTRC got to recognize a superstar, Ms Madison Corzine as the citizen of the month.

Aspirations: Civil Rights Attorney and ultimately a Supreme Court Justice
Entrepreneur: In 2020 – at the age of 14, she and a friend in Middle school
realized that students in her school could not afford feminine products – which
lead to students missing school during this time each month; They began to
collect and distribute products and in 2021 gained nonprofit status. Pragmatic
Prodigies provides support for girls in need as well as mentoring services
2022 National Miss Juneteenth USA
Graduated from Timber Creek High School at the age of 16 years old
2023 – Penguin Random House Creative Writing Award included the first-ever
Michelle Obama Award for Memoir; Madison was 1 of 5 seniors selected for the
national award for her work entitled
“What I Wish I Knew: A Suburban Black Girl’s Guide”
