⚱️ LET’S TALK ABOUT SOMETHING WE ALL FACE… BUT RARELY TALK ABOUT.

What really happens behind the scenes in the funeral industry? What does a funeral director actually do? And what should families know before they find themselves making difficult decisions?

Join the Golden Triangle Rotary Club on Thursday, October 1, as we welcome Beth Mitchell, Funeral Director & Location Leader at Luca Funeral Home, for a conversation about death care and the funeral industry.

Beth will share insight into compassionate care, supporting families through grief, how the funeral industry is changing, and why planning ahead can make such a difference for the people we love.

🚀 READY TO MAKE YOUR MARKETING ACTUALLY WORK?

This week at Golden Triangle Rotary, we’re talking business, marketing, technology, and growth with Brad Parnell, Founder & Growth Partner at GenieRocket.

Brad will share practical ideas businesses and organizations can use to cut through the noise and turn marketing into something that produces real, measurable results.

We’ll get into topics like brand clarity, digital marketing, AI & automation, lead generation, sales funnels, and how businesses can work smarter when trying to reach the right people.

Whether you own a business, lead an organization, work in sales or marketing, or are just wondering what the heck AI is going to do to all of this 😁 — this should be a great conversation.

🇺🇸 A little laughter. A connection to home. In the middle of a war, those things mattered.

Meet the Donut Dollies—American women who volunteered with the Red Cross in Vietnam, bringing recreation, encouragement, and moments of normalcy to troops far from home.

On Thursday, October 15, Golden Triangle Rotary welcomes Joan Boyle to share her firsthand experiences serving with this remarkable group—and how her commitment to the Red Cross continues today.

It’s a chance to hear history from someone who lived it, and a powerful example of the spirit behind Service Above Self.

🌎✈️ WHAT IF ONE EXPERIENCE COULD CHANGE THE WAY A YOUNG PERSON SEES THE WORLD?

That’s exactly what Rotary Youth Exchange can do.

Join us Thursday, October 22, as Steve Trine introduces us to this incredible Rotary program and how it gives young people the opportunity to experience new cultures, build lifelong friendships, develop independence and leadership, and discover just how big—and connected—our world really is.

And here’s the thing: you don’t have to be a Rotarian to come hear about it!

Know a student who dreams about seeing the world? A parent who wants to learn more? Or maybe you’ve always wondered what Rotary actually DOES beyond those signs you see around town. 😁

Come have breakfast with us and find out!

❤️ WHAT CAN HAPPEN WHEN SOMEONE DECIDES TO HELP… LITTLE BY LITTLE?

This Thursday, Golden Triangle Rotary welcomes Kadie Hawley from Little by Little MX for an update on the work being done to improve the lives of children in Mexico.

But we also want to hear how this whole thing started.

How does an idea turn into an organization? How does seeing a need turn into actually doing something about it? And how can ordinary people, taking relatively small steps, create an impact far bigger than they ever expected?

That story is one of the reasons Little by Little fits so naturally with the Rotary mindset.

See a need. Get involved. Bring people together. Take action. Serve others.

Kadie will share the latest from the orphanage, the kids they're helping, the progress being made, and what comes next — including some of the projects our own community has been able to play a part in.

👟 Shoes. Hope. Opportunity. Brighter futures.
