🌟 Join Golden Triangle Rotary as We Welcome Michelle Sanford! 🌟

Get ready for a great look at the impact of Scouting right here in our local community!

We’re excited to welcome Michelle Sanford, a longtime Scouting leader and COR for Golden Triangle Rotary’s Chartered Scout Units, for a special presentation on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 7:00 AM.

Michelle will give us a local Scouting overview, sharing more about our Chartered Scout Units, the opportunities available to young people, and how Scouting helps build character, leadership, confidence, and a commitment to service.

Michelle brings more than 14 years of Scouting experience and currently serves in several leadership roles, including:

🏕️ Merit Badge Coordinator for Troop 589
⚓ New Member Coordinator for Ship 1910
🤝 COR for Golden Triangle Rotary Units
🦫 Assistant Council Commissioner for Longhorn Council
🏅 Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow

Her dedication to Scouting has earned numerous honors, including the Wood Badge Award, Commissioner Award of Excellence in Unit Service, and Committee and Commissioner Keys. She has also contributed to National Youth Leadership Training and Wood Badge programs.

But beyond the titles and awards, Michelle is someone who genuinely believes in serving others and helping young people become the leaders of tomorrow.

Golden Triangle Rotary is proud to partner with Carter BloodCare for an upcoming community blood drive—and we’re asking our members, friends, families, and neighbors to roll up their sleeves and help save lives.

Every day, hospitals and patients across North Texas depend on volunteer blood donors. A single donation can make a tremendous difference for someone facing an emergency, undergoing surgery, battling illness, or simply needing care when life takes an unexpected turn.

This is Rotary in action: bringing people together to make a difference in our community.

You don't have to be a doctor, first responder, or healthcare professional to save a life. Sometimes, all it takes is a little bit of your time and a willingness to give.
